Coming Out From Hiding

Wow. Has it really been a MONTH since my last post? Where did the time go? Actually, I know where it went. Its carcass is smeared down the length of I-5, between Newport Beach and Beverly Hills.

Yes, I am bogged down with internship and school responsibilities, and no, I haven't gotten much knitting done. (Part of that was completely my fault. I ordered the wrong yarn for my sister's baby blanket project and had to switch gears after knitting up 6 balls of the stuff.) BUT I was compelled to post something today because the delightful Kristen surprised me with a Make My Day Award*. All together now: Awwwwwwwww!

And of course I'm supposed to pass on the award to 10 blogs that make my day too. Just 10? I actually read over 100 knitting blogs (and I have the 586 unread posts from the past few weeks to prove it). But here we are, in completely random order:

1) Kristen at Learner's Per-knit
2) Laura & Sarah at Bella Knitting
3) Carolyn at CraftyCarolyn
4) Wendy at Knit and Tonic
5) Sarah & Ellen at Knit Sisters
6) Dana at Knitsmith, Wordpurl
7) Annie at Modeknit / Knitting Heretic
8) Leann at See Leann Knit
9) Jen & Julie at Team Knit
10) A Fabulous Knitter at PhD Knitting

Thanks, Kristen! And thanks to all the other knitters out there who are passing out this award. It's great to discover other blogs that have that little "stamp of approval".

I'll try to post more this weekend about my current projects. I promise!

*The rules of the award are : Give the award to 10 people (or more) whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel happy about blogland. Let them know by posting a comment on their blog so they can pass it on. Beware you may get the award several times.
